FAQs: Getting Started & Onboarding
Common questions about starting with Outmin
How long does onboarding take and what's expected of me?
Onboarding typically takes 2-4 weeks overall, depending on client complexity, but your active time is low (just a few hours). We handle all the heavy lifting. Your role includes: sharing supplier contact details, helping connect bank accounts, providing opening balances from your current system, and encouraging client engagement with the app.
Can I test Outmin with just one client first?
Absolutely. Most practices start with 1-2 clients as a pilot. This lets you see the time savings and data quality before scaling. We recommend choosing clients with good supplier connections and regular transaction volumes for the best initial experience.
What if onboarding takes longer than expected?
If delays occur due to supplier connections or client responsiveness, we'll flag this to you immediately. You can step in to help with supplier contact or client engagement as needed. We track progress daily and keep you informed throughout.
Can I show this to my team or partners before committing?
Yes – we can arrange team demos and provide materials you can share internally. Many practices need buy-in from multiple stakeholders, and we're happy to present to your full team or answer specific questions from partners.
