# How to add Outmin as a user on Shopify

To give Outmin view-only access to your Shopify store, you'll need to invite us as a staff member with a custom permissions set. It only takes a few minutes.

1. Log in to your Shopify admin at[admin.shopify.com](https://admin.shopify.com/)
2. In the left-hand menu, click **Settings**, then select **Users and permissions**.
3. Click **Add staff**.
4. Enter the following details when prompted:
5. Under **Permissions**, deselect all options and enable only the following:
6. Leave all other permissions switched off, then click **Send invite**.

Your proxy email is a unique email set-up specifically to provide Outmin with remote-access to your online systems & portals. If you don't know what your proxy email is, you can ask your accountant!

Once you've sent the invite, the Outmin team will accept it and get to work. No need to share any passwords — Shopify handles access securely via email invitation.

**Note:** Staff account limits vary by Shopify plan. If you're on the Basic plan, you may have a limited number of staff accounts available. You can check your current usage under **Settings → Users and permissions**.
