What Dashboards and Visibility Do You Get with Outmin?
Overview of client and firm access to bookkeeping data and reporting tools
Outmin provides different levels of access and visibility depending on whether you're a client or an accounting firm. Clients get a streamlined view of their own bookkeeping, while firms have comprehensive oversight across all their clients' accounts.
For your clients: the Client Dashboard
Each client has access to their own Outmin dashboard (via desktop or mobile), giving them visibility over their bookkeeping. The interface is designed to be mostly view-only, with minimal input required.
- Cashflow visibility
Clients can see money coming in and going out, including recent transactions, sales, and payments. - Document uploads
Receipts and invoices can be uploaded by taking a photo, using drag-and-drop, or emailing them in. - Clarification requests
If Outmin needs more information about a transaction, clients receive a message (Rex request) in the app and can respond directly. - Reports
Clients can view financial reports such as P&L and Balance Sheet at any time. - User and location management
Businesses with multiple locations can switch between them. Admin users can manage access and add team members. - Centralised document access
All documents (invoices, receipts, bank feeds, etc.) are stored in one place for easy access.

Coming Very Soon: The Outmin Client Management Portal
We’re currently rolling out a dedicated Accountancy Portal that brings all client data into one central hub, built for practices managing multiple businesses.
As soon as you log in, you’ll see:
- A complete client list, with instant access to each individual account
- A live feed of unallocated transactions, so you can quickly spot what needs attention across your client base
Once inside a client’s account, you’ll have full access to their bookkeeping environment. The portal is sleek, functional, and organised into six key areas:
- Bank: Multi-account syncing, real-time reconciliation progress with percentages, and flagged unallocated items
- Suppliers: Activity tracking, invoice status, and document access
- Revenue: Aged debtor breakdowns and sales activity
- VAT: Quarter-by-quarter status and return preparation
- General Ledger: Full account histories and linked documentation
- Trial Balance: On-demand reporting and exportable summaries
With everything in one place, it’s easier to track progress, spot issues, and stay in control, whether you’re reviewing one client or fifty.
